Man Calibrating a piece of equipment

Bluestreak's New Configurable Equipment Calibration module provides the flexibility to establish multiple calibration requirements for any piece of equipment. Additionally, it allows you to link equipment dependencies, ensuring all interconnected components are fully calibrated for optimal performance.

Configurable Equipment Calibration™

Bluestreak's™ Configurable Equipment Calibration module allows you to set up any number of calibration requirements for a given piece of equipment. You can also make that equipment dependent upon other equipment to be fully calibrated.

As this new module integrates with other modules and functions within Bluestreak™, you can also use Specifications, Media attachments, and Control Plans as part of each unique equipment calibration. As an additional benefit, Bluestreak™ will also automatically track the history of compliance for each piece of equipment.

This latest addition to its cutting-edge tool set can be used by various departments within an organization to efficiently manage and track calibration processes. It is primarily utilized by quality control, manufacturing, and maintenance departments, as well as laboratories and other regulatory compliance-focused areas. The main goal of the Generic Calibration module is to ensure that all equipment requiring calibration or certification within an organization are accurate, reliable, and in compliance with industry standards.

Key Product Features

By centralizing all calibration-related activities and aligning calibration schedules with operational needs, this software will help minimize downtime and prevent unnecessary recalibrations, resulting in significant cost savings.

  • For a given piece of equipment, you can define one or more required calibrations that expire after a defined period of time.

  • Each calibration can define other REQUIRED equipment that needs to be current in calibration for the given equipment to be considered current in its calibration. In other words, a required piece of equipment being out of calibration will cause ALL OTHER equipment that references it to be out of calibration.

  • You can also specify related equipment that is used in the calibration verification, such as test equipment.

  • A Calibration can contain a Quality Control Plan with Characteristics that can require results to be entered to reset each calibration.

  • A Calibration can reference Specifications, and if those specifications are required on a Work Order for equipment qualification, an ‘out of calibration’ condition will prevent that equipment from being selected during work order operation tracking. This test is in addition to the Equipment’s specifications being current.

  • A Calibration can have Data Questions that must be answered before it can be reset.

  • A Calibration can have associated media (picture, video, diagram, file, etc.) that can be referenced during each Calibration Verification.
